I’m Nick Tyler — an illustrative tattoo artist based on Long Island, specializing in black and grey, fineline, floral and ornamental work.
In 2022, I taught myself to tattoo from the ground up, obsessed over the details, and committed to becoming the artist I couldn’t find when I was first looking to get tattooed.

How do I book a flash design?
Start by choosing a design from one of my AVAILABLE DESIGNS, then pick your spot on the calendar. You’ll pick a time, share the design you're interested in, and pay a $50 deposit which gets credited toward the total. I’ll confirm by text everything you need to know before your appointment!
What’s the process for a custom tattoo?
Fill out my custom tattoo form with your idea, placement, size, and references. I’ll review it within 1-3 days and you'll receive a private booking link if we align. I show up to our session with a ready-to-tattoo custom design which we can review together and revise accordingly, if necessary.
Do you require deposits?
Yes. $50 for pre-drawn designs, this secures your calendar slot. Depending on expected session length, custom tattoos require either a $100 or $200 deposit. All deposits are non-refundable and go toward your tattoos total price.
Deposits protect the artist’s time for drawing and reserve your calendar spot. If you need to reschedule with proper notice, your deposit can be transferred. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations, regardless of reason.
What’s your reschedule / cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your session, please contact me as soon as possible. Last-minute reschedules, cancellations, or no-shows may forfeit your deposit. One weeks notice is required to transfer your deposit to a new date.
How should I prepare and what about aftercare?
Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten a meal. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications unless cleared by your doctor. I’ll wrap your tattoo and walk you through a simple aftercare routine, plus I'll send you written instructions so you know exactly what to do over the next 2–3 weeks. I provide every client with complimentary aftercare products, regardless of tattoo size or session length.
What is your pricing?
I charge $250 per hour. This hourly pricing model allows the final tattoo price to scale with my clients size and placement preferences, without having to re-quote/re-negotiate cost.
I'll do my best to give you an accurate time range/estimate prior to your session, if requested.
How do you handle hygiene and safety?
I follow strict hygiene protocols: single-use needles and equipment, hospital-grade disinfectants, barrier protection on all surfaces, and regular health inspections. All equipment is opened in front of you so you can see that it’s sterile and fresh.
