Before your appointment

A few small things that
make a huge difference.

Showing up prepared lets me focus fully on your tattoo. Follow this checklist to keep your skin, mind, and body in the best shape to be tattooed.

24 hours before

Set your body up to sit well.

  • Hydrate throughout the day — aim for at least 2–3 full glasses of water.
  • Moisturize the area, avoid dyed lotions and sun exposure.
  • No alcohol or blood thinning medication 24 hours before your session.
  • Get a full night’s sleep to ensure comfortability during your session.
Day of your session

Arrive calm, fed, and hydrated.

  • Eat a solid meal 1–2 hours before your appointment.
  • Wear comfortable, dark clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area.
  • Bring headphones, water, and a few snacks for longer sessions.
  • Show up 10–15 minutes early.
What to bring

A few essentials for a smooth session.

  • Valid ID (required for the consent form).
  • Snacks and drinks.
  • Payment method such as cash, Zelle, or Venmo (Tap to Pay also available with fee).
  • A hoodie or blanket in case you get cold.
During your session

What to expect from the
moment you walk in.

My goal is to make your experience as comfortable and collaborative as possible. I’ll guide you through each step, check in on how you’re feeling, and only start once you love the placement and design.

The session itself.

  • Together we’ll review final design, size, and placement when you arrive.
  • We’ll stencil and position the tattoo, then set up and get started once dry.
  • I work in focused blocks, with short breaks at your request.
  • You can speak up at any time if you need a pause or position adjustment.

Aftercare starts before you leave.

I’ll wrap your tattoo and walk you through step-by-step aftercare, including complimentary healing products tailored to your piece. You’ll also get a digital copy of my aftercare guide by text so you don’t have to remember everything on the spot.

  • Expected healing timeline for your tattoo.
  • How often to wash and moisturize.
  • What’s normal vs. when to reach out to me.
  • How to keep your tattoo looking crisp for years after your session.
